IPET is recognized by ECSA as a licensing body and is required to verify and validate all CPD courses in accordance with ECSA’s rules.

Service Providers requesting validation of courses are requested to send an enquiry to admin@ipet.org.za

Please provide the following initial information.

  • 1. The name of the course.
  • 2. Engineering Discipline.
  • 3. Duration in hours of the course.
  • 4. Method of presentation (Face to Face, Online, Hybrid, e-learning)
  • 5. An index of the course contents.
  • 6. Possible costs of the course.
  • 7. Target market for the course (Engineers, Technologists, Others).
  • 8. Details of the presenter
  • 9. Short CV of the presenter.

The information requested above will assist IPET to source a course reviewer who can confirm the quality and value of the course and calculate the CPD credits for the course.

If IPET can source a reviewer, competent in the field of the course material, a quote will be sent. Once this quote is accepted, the detailed course material and all other documentation required by ECSA for review must be submitted. The required fee must also be paid.
